I have the monitor directly on the wall myself (as close as possible). Minimum distance (in the centre) approx. 15cm, maximum distance (outside) approx. 19cm. In each case measured from the front (screen to wall)

Yes, that works without a problem, but for a little more there is already a 4K UHD screen in 32 inches that has a better resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and is less wide. It's also a curved device. The additional resolution provides much more screen space and since the pixel pitch is also slightly smaller than on the 34 inch screen, the characters are also sharper, especially visible with smaller fonts.
