I don't know. Either way, I wouldn't buy the product again. The sound quality is poor and the font on the display of my (older) version is barely legible.

No. You can't. When you pick up the cordless phone, it shows on the base station that the line is busy. If you pick up the handset anyway, the "busy" sign appears. You can't hear anything.

Yes, both devices have a backlight (white).
The numbers on the handset are not very legible because the letters and numbers are very high and narrow. The segments themselves are also very narrow.
I can't answer that. I only have a handset. I would not buy the product again today because the writing on both sets is so high and narrow that you can hardly decipher the incoming numbers, etc. The sound quality is not great either. The sound quality is not great either.

We have connected the Doro to a Fritzbox from Sunrise and everything works!!!
Yes, this is possible for up to 5 handsets. This product is compatible with most GAP-supported devices, also from other manufacturers.
