No, unfortunately not
This is a mistake in the description, which should be corrected soon.
As the Homebase 2 has 16 GB memory, approx. 2 months of recordings from one camera can be stored, with 2 cameras it is approx. 1 month, etc. The manufacturer has carried out the following test: In most common scenarios, one HomeBase and two cameras consume about 528 MB per month. The test was carried out under the following conditions: - Live view three times per camera per day - Live view for 30 seconds each time - The streaming rate is 100 KB/s.
as far as i can see, both have a homebase. the great thing about eufy is that you don't need a subscription or anything like that. put an sd card in the homebase, then create an account and you can access your cams. since we don't have any power lines, it's great with batteries in the cams. they also last a really long time (depending on how often the cams record). i can really recommend the system (we've been using it for 3 years). hope that helps.
The Eufycam 2 has an older base station and is not yet capable of Kl. The Kl only happens through the new base station, which is supplied with Eufycam 3.
No. But the battery lasts me almost a year.
I don't have a Swisscom _Business_ router, but only an Internet box for home use. Everything runs smoothly there. However, it is important to know that the cams build their own encrypted network with the eufy Base Station. This means that you absolutely need the Base Station, but how it is ultimately connected to the Internet (Swisscom router, etc.) is, I think, of secondary importance. If you specify "compatible" and have an exact use case with the business router, I can possibly give you more information.
On the one hand you can adjust the streaming quality (depending on the internet speed) and on the other hand the recording quality from 2K HD to Full HD.
Cats in the direct field of vision of the camera always trigger a shot for me. In this respect, yes, the camera recognises cats very well.
The availability is mentioned on the website, it is an approximate time and we cannot certify it. If you have already placed an order, please contact customer service :)
That depends on the strength of the Wi-Fi and how much concrete/brick/wood is in between. But 10-20 metres is already possible.
I am very sorry that we were not able to respond more quickly to your request. Thank you very much for clarifying this and sharing your knowledge with us and the community!
Yes, you can watch the recorded video clips via the app from abroad without any problems. As far as I know, the SD card cannot be replaced. The recordings are simply transferred when the built-in storage capacity is used up. I have 5 cameras in use and the recordings of the last three months are still stored.
Good evening - and yes, there is a solar panel for this cam - here it is: https://de.eufylife.com/products/t8700 - but unfortunately, I did not find the corresponding article at digitec. - But maybe the customer service will find a solution for you: https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/fr Sincerely
It only records when it detects movement.
In this case, please contact our customer service directly at https://helpcenter.digitec.ch/hc/de/requests/new :) Our team will be happy to clarify this.
