Symptoms when using SALT Mobile network (all or the other Broadband providers using SALT broadband network like Lidl Abo or GoMo) : - Router has to be restarted daily, - some pages works some not, - sometimes page has to be reloaded or is stuck After long troubleshooting with Wireshark: Issue is SALT Double IP address NAT and Encryption which impact TCP\IP MTU size. Solution: - Log into the router and go to "Network Setting" TAB find " MTU SIZE " default value is 1500 (bits) - change it to 1400 Explanation - at the time of writing this post the true accepted value was 1470 bits, but if you do not know how to test it it is better to set it to 1400 and forget about the problem forever Cheers!

Does anyone know what the long-term strategy of Swisscom and CO. is? With the cheaply available second SIM cards, it is already worthwhile for most city dwellers to buy such a device (the device is amortised after one to two years compared to the subscription costs of a network provider). Does it matter to Swisscom whether people are connected to the 5G antennas or to the cables? The prices of network providers have already fallen, but can the issue simply be left to the free market economy?

Hello, on the picture you can see that there is a connection with TEL, what does that mean? We are moving to a campsite and have no telephone connection there, could we have Internet via 5G with this device and also make phone calls with a fixed line?

Hello, Does this router support VoIP? I bought its Xiaomi twin (5G CPE PRO v2), which apparently does not support VoIP. I found this out after a lot of back and forth with Xiaomi's almost non-existent after-sales service..... If I can save myself the hassle if I switch to HUAWEI, it would be great if someone could help me out.

I want to do HO and therefore need a relatively good connection (video conferencing, Citrix XEN Desktop etc. should work...). Either with Swisscom SIM or Vodafone. Based on the test reports, I am wavering between the "Huawei 5G CPE Pro 2" and "Zyxel NR5101". What can you recommend? Which external antenna is suitable? Thank you for your tips!

I use the router with Sunrise or Swisscom (both options at hand). With both I have 5g network, everything is tiptop, but when I connect to the router it always says that no connection to the internet can be established. Control LEDs are all green. Can anyone help?

wow, bought then for just under 500, now looking for a second one for my backup connection... 713 - a hefty price increase. But the bottom line: even with borderline reception, I have a more stable, faster connection with this device than with the countless 4G devices I've had.

Quick question. I have a Swisscom subscription with the Speed Plus package. At home I get 100Mbits down and 10Mbits up. At work, about 3 minutes by car, I get 700Mbits down and 110 Mbits up. Values with 5G. Can I hope for more speed at home than what my iPhone 13 Pro gives? Or does the purchase not make sense? However, I would like to cancel my Internet subscription.
