What's the difference of this one (Samsung Odyssey G9 C49G94TSSR) and this one: Samsung Odyssey G9 LC49G95TSSRXEN? As far as I can tell, the specs sheets are both incomplete and may be even incorrect in different areas, one is said to be heavier and also less bright? Can you confirm any differences?

They are all the same monitor with different SKUs for different regions (because plugs, manual languages are different etc). :) Samsung Odyssey G9 C49G94TSSR (49 ", 5120 x 1440 pixels) from Germany Samsung Odyssey G9 LC49G95TSSRXEN (49 ", 5120 x 1440 pixels) from Europe / UK / Switzerland

Is it possible to achieve 120 FPS with this monitor on a PS5? Even though I will always use my PC, I will switch to my PS from time to time.

You cannot achieve 120 FPS with the Samsung Odyssey G9 (C49G94TSSP) and a PS5. The monitor supports 120 Hz, but the PS5 cannot use this function on the Odyssey G9 because the monitor does not support Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) for the PS5 and does not provide the required HDMI 2.1 bandwidth for 120 Hz at 4K. If you want to use 120 Hz on the monitor, this only works under certain conditions, e.g. with the PC and specific graphics cards, but not with the PS5.

Hello, I would like to know how well my laptop (specifications below) would be able to handle a screen like this: ASUS ROG Strix G1515.60", AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX, 16 GB, 1000 GB, CH with AMD Radeon RX 6800M. Mainly for office use, but also a bit of gaming (warzone and hearthstone). I'm aware that games won't be able to run in ultra, nor in 240hz, but will the 5120 x 1440 pixel resolution be able to be displayed correctly and is the laptop's connectivity sufficient? It will definitely be enough for the resolution, your laptop has HDMI2.0b I'm not sure if it's enough for more than 60Hz...

I am considering using the monitor in a setup with gaming PC via DP and work notebook via HDMI - probably via external KVM. Does anyone have experience with the G9's automatic source selection? Does it recognise a "switch" between HDMI and DP source as "plugged in" and switch cleanly to the appropriate source?

No, unfortunately the G9 does not have a car source. Samsung doesn't do that with any model that has Bib and Pip. But I use the screen picture half and half with private and work and that is very cool.
