Sony PULSE-3D-Wireless-Headset - White
Wireless, Cable
It is connected to the PS4/5 and PC via a dongle (see third photo above). So it's not Bluetooth in the usual sense. For mobile phones, VR headsets etc. there is a 3.5 mm cable connection.
Hi Yes it will work with windows. It may on some pcs it may only give out mono sound because of default settings. You need to go to settings and change to any other than 16bit 48000hz and it should fix it. YouTube even shows how one can get Dolby digital from these bad boys on windows. I have a pair myself and for the price they sound very good. Wouldn’t expect anything else from Sony. Hope I was of help.
We do not have any personal experience with this article and therefore cannot answer the question. I will gladly enter it here, maybe a user can help you.
Hello yes, that should work. I just did a test with my "old" PS4 and the "new" PS5 headset, so it works. However, when using 2 headsets, 2 players must also be logged on to the console. So not only one can play and the other only listen. The PS makes a link with the registered controller(s), i.e. player 1 and player 2. It may be possible to register other headsets with the PS5, but I only have two...
Small fracture. The headset was dated 19.11.2020 when I ordered it, otherwise I wouldn't have pre-ordered it.

Yes, this headset has a built-in microphone. It doesn't have an adjustable boom microphone, but rather microphones built into the headset itself, which contributes to its elegant, compact design.
Automatically generated from the .According to our own research, only the Pulse Elite headset and the Pulse Explore earbuds can be connected wirelessly to the PlayStation Portal. However, this headset can also be connected via a 3.5 mm jack plug.
According to my research, the dongles supplied are coupled with the headsets. Unfortunately, I was unable to find a replacement. Sony might be able to help here, but I think this is rather unlikely. Here is the link to Sony's support page: Sony contact
Hi Oxymoron I forgot to mention. If you want the 3d pulse they won’t work, but if it’s wireless you’re looking for you can use any Bluetooth headphones with the Portal. Easy solution, get a small Bluetooth transmitter, connect it to the portals jack inlet, and connect to your wireless headset. Voila. I’d opt for this solution.
Simply plug in the stick, start PS5 and you're connected. I didn't have to do any further pairing.
In principle, it should be possible to wear both. Since the Pulse 3D already doesn't offer enough wearing comfort for many users, it certainly won't get any better together with the headset. I would wait for the release of the PSVR2 and the first reviews. PSVR2 already contains (small) headphones, which are sufficient to bridge the gap until a full headset is available.
Wireless operation (via USB dongle) is not possible on the Xbox. Possibly with a cable via a jack on the Xbox controller, but there are better alternatives.
Hello Yes, it works with the PS4 without 3D sound. Headset also works on PC.
The headset can be connected wirelessly (via the USB dongle) to PS4/5 and Windows PCs. According to tests, it also works with current Macs (unfortunately, I don't know whether Apple TV is considered a "Mac" in this sense). The supplied cable can also be used to connect to other devices such as mobile phones, provided they still have a jack plug socket. I am not confident about the connection to the TV - the dongle will probably not be recognised. However, I have no experience with this.
Good question, I would also be interested. Otherwise I am very satisfied!
Yes and no. As far as I know, Bluetooth audio does not work on the PS5. That is why a wireless receiver is supplied with the Pulse 3d. The 3d audio can be used without restriction via 3.5 mm or with any other PS4/PS5 headset.
You can certainly find them on ebay and other sellers. But nothing from Sony or even licensed, everything of questionable quality.

It is made of plastic and rubber. But it feels extremely high-quality. Unfortunately, I can't tell you how it will hold up in the long run.
According to Sony, it is compatible. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee this and we are very sorry about that.
