Generally, it seems that German power cables are supplied with Schuko plugs. I have written to the customer service, asking them to send me CH cables. Because buying Swiss cables separately is not an option when ordering 3 Ubiquiti devices.

As I read it, the PoE injector is included here. But it doesn't say anything about the cable. Is there no CH cable included, only a DE cable? I thought that all devices sold in Switzerland had to include them?

Does the UniFi UAP-AC-LR ac866/n450 work with a UPC Horizon router? or do I need to use a separate router? And can it be operated with a Linksys LGS108P switch? It also has PoE.

According to the description, this AP has POE and the data sheet of your switch says the same. I doubt whether the upc horizon router can handle this. However, this is not a problem as long as the switch is connected in between. An access point should work with any 0815 router.

Basically, before I submit my review, I would first like to clarify whether I have forgotten to include something. I have set up a complete Unify network at home and have been very satisfied. Now I have replaced the one from Swisscom with the Ubiquiti. Unfortunately, I'm rather disappointed with it. I now only have WLAN in the living room. As soon as I go upstairs, the reception is so poor that it only works optimally to a limited extent. The position of the access point is the same as the one from Swisscom. Can't it be that the Unify one is worse? Are there any settings that I didn't see at first glance that I can use to solve this problem?

Hey,

If you have a hardware controller, you can set the transmission power from Low to High in the WLAN AP settings. The first thing you should do is check this.

Hello, is this antenna compatible with a Switch POE 802.3af? According to the description, it works with the proprietary 24V ubiquiti and the standard 48v 802.3af, is this the case?

Hello all. I have the following question: I have a switchboard in the basement but the router is on the ground floor. I have an Ethernet socket with RJ45 connections on the upper floor. If I buy this access point and connect it to the socket on the first floor, it should work, shouldn't it? Or do I need to make any adjustments? Greetings and thank you

it only needs a connection to the router, whether this is direct or via a switch, doesn't matter.
but please note that the access point needs a power supply.
a power supply unit and an adapter are included,
You may also need LAN cables.
Alternatively, I use a PoE switch, so I don't need a power supply at the AP directly.
But please note that not all PoE is the same, there are differences.

Hello Together I have 3 pcs. Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC-LR installed in my home since 2019. Now one of them starts to make strange noises. Like an old hard drive. Can anyone help me? Is this a sign that it will give up soon? Thank you!

Is there a chance that the UAP-AC-LR will be available again in the near future or is the model no longer in production? We would like to add an AP to our existing UAP-AC-LR network and would also be interested in a second-hand model.
