No. I have cheap, expensive or installation cables in use. Everything works without any problems.
No, not directly. There is a very flat wall holder included, where you can write the device on and snap it in. It can be plugged in in two directions. You could screw the holder onto the DIN rail. Have you already used another cable? My USW16 lite also connects some devices only with 100 or 10 MBit. I've noticed that this is especially the case with low-quality cables... But that's strange, because the cable quality should hardly be a factor, should it? Let me know what the problem was, I still have a few rotten eggs on the switch.
