Nothing has changed visually on the router. It is comparable to the 6590 or 6591, but what has changed is clearly the WLAN AX, which has now become absolutely blatant in the 100 square metre flat. Where the repeater was necessary before, it is no longer necessary. So I bought the repeater with AX for nothing. However, it is still used to get a bit more out of it. 500 Mbit WLAN in the entire flat is no longer a problem. As usual, a top router model from AVM.

Fritz Box 6690
It's my first cable router, installation as always easy. I can only say everything else once the device has been running for a while.

Unfortunately, I was unable to put the Fritz! box into operation with my cable provider (SASAG Kabelkommunikation AG in Schaffhausen), although the same product is sometimes included with new subscriptions. This meant that I could only use the box as a WLAN router. By buying the Fritz!Box 4060, I could have saved about 50 Fr. Unfortunately, it's no longer worth returning the product because Digitec demands 10% of the purchase price on return.
