The Rode Videomic Me is a compact and lightweight directional microphone specifically designed for smartphones. With a length of just 8 cm and a weight of 34 g, it is ideal for mobile videography. The microphone features an integrated TRRS connector that allows for easy connection to the headset jack of smartphones. It can be used for recordings directed towards the microphone as well as for selfie videos, depending on the orientation of the plug. The built-in 3.5 mm headphone jack enables live monitoring of audio during recording. The high-quality 1/2 inch condenser capsule with a cardioid pattern ensures precise sound capture in the frequency range of 100 Hz to 20 kHz. A detachable furry windscreen is included to minimize unwanted wind noise and enhance audio quality.
