The Rode Videomic was developed in collaboration with Rycote, a specialist in microphone mounts. This high-quality video microphone from Rode has been enhanced with additional features to ensure perfect recordings. The Rycote Videomic captures a frequency range of 40 Hz to 20 kHz and offers a directional microphone characteristic. To avoid unwanted noise, the microphone is decoupled using the Rycote Lyre mount. Additionally, a high-pass filter can be activated to further suppress low-frequency noise. The Videomic Rycote can operate for up to 100 hours on a single 9V battery.
