The cage nut is a novel fastening element designed to serve as a connector in sheets without risking deformation of the workpieces. This connection technique also allows for easy attachment of finished and painted workpieces, such as server cabinet inserts.

Features:

• For securing electronic inserts, 19-inch installations, and blanking plates to mounting profiles
• In the case of tight tolerances, cage nuts should be used for profile sheet thicknesses of 1.2 - 1.5 mm
• Optionally with or without contact of the inserts with the 19-inch profile/case
