The Ethernet cable and MPI adapter are only included in certain cases – Ethernet cable (only for PN screens), MPI cable (only for DP devices) for downloads and tests. Each SIMATIC base unit meets the IP65 protection class and is ideal for simple visualization tasks even in harsh environments. This is the ideal entry-level series from 3.8 to 15 inches for operating and monitoring simple machines and systems. Clear process representation is provided thanks to displays with pixel graphics. Intuitive operation is facilitated with touchscreen and touch-sensitive function keys. The device is equipped with all necessary basic functions such as alarm logging, recipe management, plots, vector graphics, and language switching.
