The SilverStone SST-RM23-502-MINI is a 2U server case with a black front. It features a large perforation for improved airflow, numerous status LEDs, two USB 3.0 ports, and one power and reset button each. The two handles on the front make it easier to pull the case out of the server rack with optional telescopic rails.

The case internally accommodates two 3.5-inch HDDs and one 2.5-inch drive. Two 5.25-inch drives can be installed at the front. It can mount motherboards up to the Micro-ATX form factor. There are four low-profile slots available for expansion cards. For cooling the hardware and drives, there are two slots for 80x25 mm fans at the front.
