The StarTech.com 3 Meter LWL Patch Cable SC SC (UPC) is a high-performance fiber optic cable designed for use in singlemode OS2 networks. With a fiber structure of 9/125µm, this duplex cable enables data transmission of up to 100 gigabits per second, making it ideal for demanding applications in data centers and network infrastructures. The cable supports Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing (CWDM) over an extended wavelength range of 1260-1625 nm, enhancing signal strength over long distances. The use of precision-engineered ceramic ferrules ensures accurate fiber alignment and minimizes insertion loss to below 0.3 dB. Additionally, the cable features a bend-insensitive fiber core surrounded by a low refractive index material to optimize performance and improve return loss. The LSZH material also ensures safe use in enclosed spaces, as it does not emit harmful gases when burned.
