Increases the range of PoE connections for powering powered devices (PD) over long distances up to 100 m. Up to four extenders can be daisy-chained to extend the range of a PoE source device (PSE) by an additional 400 m, achieving a total range of 500 m measured from the original PSE source to the target device.

By utilizing Cat 5e (or higher) Ethernet cabling, it supports IEEE 802.3af (PoE / Type 1), IEEE 802.3at (PoE+ / Type 2), and IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++ / Type 3), enabling support for PD devices such as pan-tilt cameras, lighting, sensors, and Wi-Fi access points.

This PoE extender features an IP30 enclosure and an MTBF of over 500,000 hours (Telcordia/Bellcore) at 50 °C for long-term reliability and endurance. The operating temperature range of -40 °C to 75 °C allows for use in a wide range of indoor or outdoor applications where temperature control is not present.

The PoE extender also includes hardware for mounting on a DIN rail or wall. It accepts power of up to 95 W from a PSE source and delivers 15 W, 30 W, or 60 W to a target PD device. The low power consumption of 2.7 W allows for more power to be passed on to devices, especially when multiple extenders are used for a single extension.
