The slim Cat6 patch cord is 36% thinner than standard Cat6 Ethernet cables, enabling greater airflow and heat dissipation in confined spaces. The slim Cat6 Ethernet cable is also more flexible, allowing for easier cable routing in crowded network racks and patch panels.

This cable features snagless connectors that protect the RJ45 clips during installation, reducing snags or breakage when routing through narrow gaps or between devices.

Durable construction

The slim Cat6 cable features 50-micron gold RJ45 contacts that ensure a precise fit to minimize wear and signal loss. The 4-pair Unshielded Twisted Pair (UTP) construction utilizes 28AWG pure bare copper wire for improved conductivity and low resistance. The flexible Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) flame-retardant jacket emits low smoke and toxic fumes when exposed to extreme heat or in the event of a fire. This enables safer installations in poorly ventilated areas, including some industrial settings, self-contained environments such as trains and aircraft, as well as residential settings where compliance with building codes must be considered.

Tested for reliability

The slim Cat6 patch cable is tested to comply with ANSI/TIA 568 C.2 requirements for guaranteed Cat6 performance. The cable is Fluke tested to ensure minimal Near-End Crosstalk (NEXT) and Return Loss (RL).
