This unmanaged industrial Gigabit Ethernet switch features 5 ports. The StarTech industrial Ethernet switch offers 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports in a compact metal housing with an IP30 rating. It is ideal for networking solutions in harsh industrial environments such as factory floors, warehouses, or large junction boxes. It includes 5 unmanaged RJ45 Ethernet ports for 10/100/1000 Mbps. The metal housing is suitable for DIN rail and wall mounting and has an IP30 rating. It provides overcurrent and reverse polarity protection. The extended operating temperature range is from -40 °C to 75 °C. Speed/Duplex auto-negotiation and automatic MDIX detection are available on each port. It supports Jumbo Frames up to 9K. IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet is supported. It also supports IEEE 802.3x flow control and backpressure. The switch features redundant power input with 12–58 V DC terminal block connections to minimize downtime. When used with two power sources, the switch also supports alarm relay contacts that can be wired into your existing alarm circuit.
