What is a hardware wallet?

1. Why use a hardware wallet? If you own cryptocurrencies, you actually own a private key that gives you access to your coins. You must keep this key absolutely secure.

2. What is a hardware wallet? Hardware wallets store access to your private key (and thus to your cryptocurrencies) offline, which means hackers cannot access it – not even when your device is connected to your computer.
