How this product works
The TL-FC311B-2 utilizes WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, allowing data to be sent and received over distances of up to 2 km using just a single-mode fiber optic cable. This saves customers half the cost of cable deployment. The TL-FC311B-2 transmits data at a wavelength of 1310 nm and receives data at a wavelength of 1550 nm over an optical fiber. Therefore, the device used in conjunction with the TL-FC311B-2 should send data at a wavelength of 1550 nm and receive data at a wavelength of 1310 nm.
