The TL-SG1005P features five 10/100/1000 Mbps ports, four of which support PoE, and requires no configuration or software installation. The device automatically detects and powers connected PoE devices. Both data transfer and power supply are ensured through a single cable, significantly simplifying network expansion. With Power over Ethernet, you can power compatible devices via the network cable. This particularly reduces cabling efforts for devices such as wireless access points, IP phones, and IP cameras, while providing high flexibility in device placement. The IEEE 802.3af standard offers a maximum power output of 15.4 watts per PoE port with a voltage of up to 48 volts. The standard assumes that after line losses, 12.95 watts of usable power remains or can be drawn, in order to not exceed the maximum power output.
