Data transmission using CCA (Aluminum). CCA refers to bi-metallic single and multi-core cables with a copper-clad aluminum core for higher frequency applications. The skin effect, also known as current displacement, is a physical phenomenon caused by higher frequency alternating currents. The current density inside the conductor decreases with increasing frequency compared to that on the outer surface. The inner cross-sectional area of a conductor carrying high-frequency alternating current practically has no transmission function.
