Ideal for landscape photography
The ND Fader by walimex ensures a uniform darkening of the image. It reduces the amount of light and simultaneously extends the shutter speed by +2 to +8 stops. The Fader combines several neutral density filters, and since the adjustment is stepless, it allows for even finer tuning with just one filter. It enables longer exposure times, allowing you to create a kind of blur or flow effect in long exposures. For example, flowing water appears very soft or like flowing mist with it.
Excellent for videography
To quickly respond to different lighting conditions in videography, the ND Fader is an extremely practical tool. With it, you only need one filter instead of three or four, significantly simplifying and speeding up the process. This makes you much more flexible in your work.
Outstanding craftsmanship
The ND Fader features excellent optical properties. The high-quality glass lenses are housed in a precisely crafted metal frame. The filter has an additional internal thread, allowing for the use of further filters. Since it combines several neutral density filters, it is a particularly compact and lightweight solution for photographers and videographers. It is transported in a protective case that shields the filter from harmful UV radiation, significantly extending its lifespan.
