Product details

Wirewin® Category 6A patch cables meet the specifications according to ISO/IEC 11801 Ed.2, enabling data transmission of up to 10 GBit/s. The Category 6A is specified at 500 MHz. The cable for these patch cables is double shielded. Each pair is enclosed in its own foil shielding, with an additional braided shield on top. This construction is commonly referred to as PIMF (Pairs in Metal Foil) or S/FTP. The jacket of these cables is made from halogen-free material, making it flame-retardant. Yellow Category 6A RJ45 connectors with gold-plated contacts are encased in a special Wirewin® strain relief sleeve to protect the connector while allowing easy pressing of the latch. A length marking is located on the underside of the sleeve. All Wirewin® KAT6A patch cables come equipped with this feature.
