Wirewin

Robust, shielded twisted-pair cable (STP) with a jack protection. Ideal for use in racks and for VoIP applications. 4 pairs twisted. AWG36. With a durable nylon jacket. Slim patch cable. The slim patch cables offer a significant advantage when wiring racks and 48-port switches. Due to their extremely thin design and great flexibility, they help prevent cable clutter and maintain organization. Tough cable. A Wirewin Cat6 Slim Tough cable features a flexible and wide jack protection as well as a robust nylon jacket. They are the optimal solution for connecting IP phones to your network. The nylon jacket allows for easy untangling of the cables, making them suitable for mobile applications - for example, to connect a laptop or as a travel companion. AWG36. The AWG (American Wire Gauge) system is based on the manufacturing process of wires and indicates the conductor thickness of the copper wire. AWG36 corresponds to a conductor cross-section of 0.0127 mm². UTP - Unscreened/Unshielded Twisted-Pair cable. UTP cables consist of a plastic jacket containing unshielded, twisted pairs. Due to the lack of shielding, UTP cables have a small outer diameter and are easy to handle and install. They are the most widely used cables for Ethernet LANs worldwide. Category 6/6a/6e. Cat 6 cables are designed for operating frequencies up to 250 MHz and are often used in professional settings. At longer lengths, transmission speed may suffer, but short extensions are generally acceptable depending on external influences. Application areas for Cat 6 include voice and data transmission as well as multimedia and ATM networks.
