Depending on the needs, the switch can be used in a 19-inch rack or on a desktop. The switch impresses with its fanless operation and very low power consumption of just 8 watts. The device meets the new IEEE 802.3az draft standard. Thanks to its non-blocking backplane, prioritized Layer 2 traffic can be forwarded using 802.1p Class-of-Service queues. Additionally, to enhance performance, it supports jumbo frames of up to 9 KB.
