The web-managed Gigabit Switch ZyXEL GS1200-5HP offers more than a typical PoE switch. The switch features an easy-to-use web GUI that allows for intuitive traffic prioritization, limitation, and protection against unauthorized access. This Gigabit switch is specifically designed for small offices and home workplaces.
IGMP for optimal multimedia streaming
The ZyXEL GS1200 Series switches provide configurable QoS features that are particularly beneficial for multimedia content. IGMP Snooping v1, v2, and v3 are implemented, enabling port selection by the router.
Firmware updates
The firmware of the ZyXEL GS1200 Series switches can be updated for free, and the existing configuration can be backed up and restored.
PoE support
The ZyXEL GS1200-5HP supports IEEE 802.3at on four ports and has a 30-watt PoE budget per port, totaling 60 watts. This makes the switch ideal for powering PoE-enabled devices such as Wi-Fi access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones. Through the switch's web GUI, power consumption per port can be monitored, and connected devices can be restarted.
