The device includes both bridge and router modes to ensure better network integration. While users benefit from the built-in routing features in all typical applications, the bridge mode is designed to work with all preferred devices, whether high-end wireless access points, firewalls for small to medium businesses, or enterprise firewalls. Thanks to the two built-in modes, the LTE7240 can easily connect to all kinds of devices and firewalls.

Uninterrupted connectivity thanks to LTE 2nd WAN during outages. Multi-WAN failover reduces the risk of network downtime caused by reliance on single-WAN technology. Additionally, LTE is wireless, allowing you to implement the second WAN without additional cabling plans. As long as the gateway supports multi-WAN failover, you can easily connect the Zyxel LTE7240-M403 to the existing gateway and set LTE as the failover WAN.

Built-in multi-band antenna. The Zyxel LTE7240-M403 4G LTE outdoor router features embedded multi-band antennas with up to 7 dBi, which work effectively in outdoor environments. The outdoor design allows for operation under conditions where the desired signal strength was previously difficult to achieve.

Software upgrades over the air. Through the LTE radio interface, the Zyxel LTE7240-M403 supports TR-069 for complete wireless configuration, and the software upgrade capability is provided by the technician. Software upgrade functionality is triggered by events initiated by the operators.

Power is supplied via Power-over-Ethernet (PoE).
