The sustain control adjusts the compression ratio and allows for a longer and richer sustain. The blend control adjusts the compressor transparency from 50% to 100%, allowing the exact amount of compressed dry signal to be set. The clip toggle selects the overdrive range of the input signal. Toggle-up compresses the signal for a voluminous sound, while toggle-down frees up more space in the clipping range.
The effect pedal refines the dry signal and improves the sound before it is sent to a mixer or amplifier. The booster adds a soothing timbre to the signal. High frequencies of the input signal can be cut with the hi-cut toggle switch. The Nux Masamune has internal routing with three functions. Both effects can be selected in parallel.
