- Which graphics card (with transcoding) is suitable for this system? - Can Surveillance (QVR Elite, I assume) be used with annual subscriptions/licences (2 licences included) and can the recorded videos be played back on a PC as in Surveillance, e.g. with TS-439 pro? - Can the backup software Hyper-Backup (probably a newer version) be used without a subscription/licence to make backups to Microsoft or Google Cloud? Thank you.

Hi, I don't know about the graphics card, but I think there are special transcoder cards. Surveillance is as you wrote. So it should work. Backup is usable without subscription with qts backup or so it is called, but you need a cloud where it can be stored.

HBS 3 (Hybrid Backup Sync) is the name of the backup and synchronisation solution now. I run a two-way sync between two NAS. You can also backup or sync the NAS with PC, MAC, USB-HD, other NAS or (many) cloud drives.
