According to Synology, the DS1621xs+ has a warranty of 5 years! In the Galaxus description it says that the Nas has a two-year legal warranty. What should I do if damage occurs after the two years?

As far as I can see, the manufacturer gives a 5-year guarantee. If problems occur after the 2 years, I would normally contact Digitec/Galaxus.

As I understand it, the guarantee has nothing to do with the legal warranty. As I understand it, the warranty is available for all devices that are sold in Switzerland. Even if the manufacturer only gives a 1-year guarantee.
