Another question about the version. According to the manufacturer, version 6 is now available. https://www.tp-link.com/us/business-networking/easy-smart-switch/tl-sg108e/v6/ Is the latest version being delivered? If so, how can you tell?

I have received the hardware version 5.0 delivered in May 2021. ("Hardware version TL-SG108E 5.0") The firmware version "1.0.0 Build 20191021 Rel.53360" is updatable, but it did not need an update until now. You can assign a fixed IP to the switch that is not assigned by the DHCP server (i.e. outside the IP range of the DHCP server). Then you can log into the switch via browser with a password defined by you.
