Can I also connect this router to the IPhone via hotspot and it amplifies the WLAN signal? Or does a simcard go in there? I still do not understand exactly how the part works xD

Helpful answer

A SIM card goes in there. The iPhone or any other WIFI device will then use this router. If you are only looking for a WIFI amplifier, search for WIFI REPEATER.
