Question about Netgear Gs108ge
Can I get full bandwidth if the switch is plugged into the wall socket (Rj45) in another room? I once had a switch that also promised gigabyte connection, but no matter how I plugged in the cables, I never got higher than 100mb/s....

The switch here naturally offers a gigabit connection.
If this is not the case, it may be due to the cable that is laid in the wall (behind your "wall socket").
