I used the TP-Link TL-SM321B with my big brother (EdgeRouter 8 Pro) and it has worked perfectly for three years. If Digitec still had the ER-4 in stock, I would take the opportunity ;-)

The Edgerouters are pretty fluffy with the SFPs. The Siligence SFP for FTTH supplied by Swisscom or Wingo works perfectly, otherwise I use SFPs from Cisco and Flexoptix. My impression is that it is rather the exception, if at all, that any normal SFP does not work. Also, the guys in Ubiquiti's forums are working on getting the g.fast SFP that Swisscom uses to work on the edgerouters. Thumbs up for Ubiquitii equipment!
