A Synology NAS natively supports and recognises this UPS via USB. Furthermore, this connection can be shared via a UPS server function and thus inform other devices about the battery status or even be used for monitoring. In addition to the Synology NAS, I have a bare-metal Ubuntu server running that is informed about the UPS status via NUT (Network UPS Tools) and automatically shuts down cleanly when the battery is low.
