Does anyone know what exactly can be done via the network interface? Can you monitor the device via SNMP?

It is described in the instructions:

There you can loop telephone or network connections to protect your switch from overvoltage via the network cable, for example. A LAN connection is probably only available on larger UPSs, and this is usually via an additional network card.
