Good day I received the router yesterday and activated the SIM card, which was also confirmed. Now the device is not establishing an Internet connection. Switching it off several times, reinserting the SIM card or pressing reset have not changed anything. Is there anything that can be done? If so, what? If not, I would like to return the device!

You may still need to enter the PIN from the SIM card. To do this, you must connect to the router via WIFI. The easiest way to access the router is via the IP address. Then enter the PIN for the SIM card in the appropriate place in the router menu. You may also need to check that the SIM card is inserted the correct way round.

connect to the wifi of the router. open the tp-link settings in the network settings and check the sim password as well as the provider settings etc.
