Hello, can someone confirm whether my idea works: My mobile is set as a hotspot, i.e. WLAN. Can I connect to the TP-Link TL-WR902 AC via WLAN on the mobile and then plug a LAN cable into the TP-Link TL-WR902 and use it to connect a device that does not have WLAN to the Internet?

At the latest when you have flashed OpenWRT, it definitely works. I can't answer whether the current HW versions still allow this. I bought my TL-WR902AC years ago and immediately reflashed it. Since then, it has been working reliably as a mobile hotspot in the car.
The original firmware is comparatively primitive.
