Hello everyone, my father only uses the router to make phone calls. Now the service provider is switching from 4G to 5G. Can anyone tell us whether the router can also be operated with a 5G SIM card?

Exactly, so unfortunately no 5G only 4G possible so you won't notice the change everything should continue to run as before, unfortunately it won't be faster either, you would have to buy another device LG for this

Many thanks for the answers. The 5G card works as promised. The only drawback... the status LED remains permanently red, which was confusing at first.

A sim with 5G enabled will work, but the link will be 4G max.
