Hello, I am a beginner on NAS. I would like to protect my storage. I want to buy the Synology DS1621 plus with 2 pieces of WD Red pro12TB What I have are 4x8WD Red pro with about the piece 75% occupied. The question is what clean sequence do I need to insert without my precious 4x8 HDD. I would be really happy but please not PC language. Thank you

Helpful answer

If the disks were already in a NAS, they must be inserted in the same way as in the old NAS - i.e. hard disk 1 (bay 1), 2 in bay 2, etc.
