Hello, I am thinking of getting a Unifi USG. I would like to leave the DHCP server functionality on my current Swisscom IB 2. My question: Since the USG comes as a DHCP server by default, can it be reconfigured during installation so that it gets the IP from the existing DHCP server? Thanks for the information!

I have defined all the local WLANs in the USG, which my Fritzbox (which is connected in front of it) cannot manage at all. Who is doing the WLAN for you then? UniFi APs? And if not, what do you need the USG for?

I don't see how this is supposed to work (but I'm happy to be corrected). The USG is supposed to be between "the internet" and the home network. Then getting the DHCP addresses from outside sounds counterproductive in terms of security.
