Question about Synology DS1522+

Hello together Does anyone have experience with a RAM expansion without original Synology RAM. I bought the Corsair Vengeance 2 x 16GB, DDR4-2666, SO-DIMM 260 pin and unfortunately they don't work. https://www.digitec.ch/de/s1/product/corsair-vengeance-2-x-16gb-ddr4-2666-so-dimm-260-pin-ram-5836568?supplier=406802 I have already found hints that Synology is very picky with the 2022 models and DSM 7.1. I would be grateful for any tips or practical experience so that I don't make a second bad purchase.

I have taken the Crucial Laptop Memory
2 x 16GB, DDR4-2666, SO-DIMM 260 pin and they work fine. You just have to make sure that the dimms are correctly inserted in the slots and when starting up it can take minutes until the start signal beep sounds - patience!

Non-Synology RAM should work, but Synology doesn't guarantee it. What you can always do is test the RAM with the Synology Assistant App. The fact that the RAM does not work is probably due to the RAM distribution and chip size per side. There is a very nice website at Nascompares where they list compatible modules for the DS1522+.
