Question about Synology DS920+

Hi @ all. I bought a DS920+ (anticipation is huge) and would like to expand the 4 GB RAM right from the start. It's my first NAS and I don't have the experience yet, but I see the sense in upgrading the RAM already at the beginning. My question: Regardless of the warranty, is the difference from +4 GB Synology (thus 8 GB) to (e.g.) +16 GB effectively noticeable? SO noticeable that it is recommended from the start, or is one well served with 8 GB?

Officially, Synology supports a maximum of 8GB on the DS920+.

But there are enough sources that it runs with 20GB.

Without knowing what exactly you want to do with the NAS, you can't say whether it's worth it.
