Hello Moustafa.galmad,

I have SunRise as my provider in Wetzikon. I now also want to use the DreamRouter! My question, do I even need a Vigor 167 as a modem for this or is it really enough to go from the socket directly into the DreamRouter WAN?

I have also received PPPoE access data from Sunrise, but I can't get a connection.

Thanks for your answer!

So again to clarify. Sunrise router is not needed, you can connect the DSL signal directly to WAN of UDM? (Without IPTV & IP phone) Or did I misunderstand the conversation now...? :)

Hi Moustafa
I don't quite understand what you're talking about. Are you talking about using the UDM without the modem provided by Sunrise?
And what do you mean by "connect your WAN cable to a switch"? Do you mean: Outlet -> Switch -> UDM?
