i don't have a source to operate the poe port. are there any adapters (if so, which ones will fit here?) that will allow me to deliver power via the poe LAN port instead of usb-c?

You can power it via a poe injector or via the usb c power supply that comes with it. the poe injector is also available here and you can use the 24v version of it Ubiquiti Passive PoE Injector 24V-12W (PoE Injector).
