I have an external 10Gbps SFP converter. Can I use the ethernet cable to "transfer" the 10Gbps into the Asus? If so, do I need to use the WAN or LAN 10G port? Thanks

Yes, you can select between "wan" (1g), SFTP+ or 10g Ethernet as the wan port, or aggregate two of them or fail over between two of them.
