Question about Netgear R7800 Nighthawk X4S
I have been using the Nighthawk X4 R7500 - so far very stable, but I have noticed that the router does not reach the bandwidth of my cable modem by far. Directly at the modem I have the desired 400Mb/s but via the router it goes down to the knees and manages just 160Mb/s. Does anyone here have better values in this respect with this new Modenn R7800 Nighthawk X4S? Do you achieve the throughput of 400Mb/s or more?

Hello
What is meant by above the router? A floor above or effectively a few metres away? If it's the floor, you might need to consider a repeater, wifi has such difficulty with dense materials that metal and concrete. If it's one way, maybe align the antennas?
