Question about Synology DS920+
I read that you can install 4 HDD AND 2 SSD at the same time (at least with DS418+) to store data. Is this true? Unfortunately Synology support could not answer this question with yes/no...

Officially, the M.2 SSD slots can only be used as a cache option read/write buffer and not as a data volume.
However, in addition to normal HDs, 2.5" SATA SSDs can also be installed in the four large bays.
