Is it possible to use the router with a nano-sim and adapter. With the Fritzbox, this is not recommended because it could get stuck.

Yes you can !

Just take one that will fit perfectly with your nano-SIM.

If not the SIM will fall from the adapter or move when you put it in the SIM tray
